All of these forks are wrong. All of them.

Which means impacted receivers are sent into an instant survival state. They are terms that when people inflict them are meant to instantly communicate to the impacted that they can die or be harmed at any time for any reason.

I’ve come to realize people think slurs are just words that hurt our feelings. No. Slurs, particularly the N-word, F-word, antisemitic terms etc. aren’t taboo because of that. It’s because historically when these terms are said they precede or pair with pitchforks, torches, lynchings & gas chambers.

It was intentional. BBC/The BAFTAs are very old and very WHITE institutions and there’s nothing more that a white institution likes to do than find a way to siphon joy (re: energy) from Black people.
