I went ahead and just created a new password less key just for GitHub. I’ve seen people sending GITHUB_TOKEN in the ssh environment too, but I haven’t tried.

I arrived at a similar setup recently! But using Tailscale SSH so I can forget about SSH keys. Basically if I am ssh-ing from a personal machine (or phone) from my tailnet, I have a policy that just lets me connect magically.
