Because setting a precedent that people with Tourette’s need to spend their lives apologizing for their tics is horrible. Nobody should expect or ask somebody to apologize for something so inconsequential. The only people making this a problem are you concern trolls.
No amount of moral quibbling will convince me that somebody should have to apologize for their disability. They didn’t hurt anybody. If you’re emotionally hurt by somebody with Tourette’s then see a therapist. Don’t ask for an apology. It’s ridiculous.
