My kids are home for Christmas, and our family has been playing the shit out of Flip 7. It actually knocked Sushi Go out of first place, where it's been for 12 years.
It's a simple press your luck game that is way more fun than a press your luck game has any right to be. I highly recommend it.
For example, if a Flip Three appears during another Flip Three, allowing assignments immediately would muddle the order of operations.
Resolving actions (during a Flip Three) as cards are flipped can create confusion—especially if additional actions appear mid-flip. Completing the entire Flip Three first keeps everything clear.
We're so glad to hear that you're enjoying Flip 7! As for you question: Flipping the cards one at a time builds anticipation while everyone watches each reveal. You must successfully flip all three cards without busting before taking any actions.
Cat Between Us is a delight. Try to lure a cat to hang out with you by playing cards onto toys. Each toy can have 2 cards. Once they're all filled, score remaining cards in hand according to their new values and try to reach a target score. Terrific hand management game! #boardgames @theop.games
