Here I was/am lucky enough, but this thing in twitter even makes me use the app less because I use my phone most of the time when people are around/not secluded

But I agre with the tasteful/artistic part, and that's on both apps. Rarely I see anything artistic AND nude, and it's a good combo 🥹

Tl;dr if there's just a warning, people won't open, because there's nothing calling/catching the attention that would make the person actually click it. Basically, no traction bcs ppl won't open it

I think that a blurred preview, not too blurry like we have in some places, would actually help a TON

That's something that sounds small but is really present to the point that could be seen if you monitor by numbers and be impressed. So it's like people just not opening the pics because just clicking the warning is a extra step, and it's worse because we can't se the pic to get our attention first

I honestly think it has to do with behavioral friction! It's really present in UX/UI and it's about we, as humans, unconsciously going for the less effort option, even if it's a small thing like and extra click in a website!

I never had problem with this here but twitter is just a different story holy fuck I can't even open that app in my home if I'm not against a wall lol

But I kinda understand it bcs people would only see a label and it's really easy for people to just ignore those posts and they'll get less traction
