We are looking to sunset 1.0 around May or June as we continue to process feedback, release updates and implement additional features. Allowing us to work on making this great and give users enough time to test, give us feedback and get used to the new website.
As 2.0 is a rewrite from the ground up and has been developed with maintainability in mind, 2.0 will see faster and more impactful updates aligned to what our users would want to see and what we have been trying to implement, but never could, since 1.0.
To focus on feedback on basic features people have come to love in 1.0, we will be prioritizing feedback on those features before enabling & working on additional features that were not present in 1.0 while expanding the indexed avatars in 2.0 and keeping up with new releases.

Upon initially releasing 2.0 (and 'unreleasing' it in less than a day) we have received/read a lot of feedback, especially about the UI and UX. We have and will continue to improve these and implement your feedback with the goal to move forward and get everyone on 2.0.
Initially upon being reached out by the pixiv team in February, we were not sure what their thoughts would be about the website and service. But we have been given nothing else but support and an 'informal endorsement' for making it easier for overseas users to find and buy assets legally.

Hello everyone, due to issues found while preparing the release of the rewrite on our staging server using the live database we have to unfortunately push back the release of the rewrite for somewhere this month.
We are disappointed, but this is the right call while keeping 1.0 up for a bit longer.
In addition, a Database freeze (no new items) will be initiated at some point during the week as progress is finalized on said migrations, allowing us to programmatically and effortlessly transfer our live Database to the rewrite with minimal downtime when we release the rewrite.
Hello everyone, over the few coming days we will be performing test migrations to convert the live Database to the new Database structure from the rewrite.
The website might be slower at times this week between 16:00 to 22:00 UTC.
While we have automated/built in this detection into 2.0, we have decided to partially apply these same detection methods where possible for items currently indexed on 1.x-- this should clean up the item list for popular avatars on BOOTHPLORER a little bit until 2.0.

If you are wanting to wait until our Web API is stabilized until next year then that is fine too, but the more people lock in for early access to our Web API and giving honest and thorough feedback, the better! We provide early Web API access that way as a reward for the troubles.

Hello everyone, we pushed out a couple of minor fixes to live which should speed up the loading of images fetched from BOOTH's image CDN while we prepare to mirror them to our own CDN starting 2.0.
These fixes work the best in instances where their image CDN has too much load.
We will no longer be using Patreon to publish any kind of blog posts. And we might actually delete the existing ones at some point; this has more than one reason which we will elaborate on in the near future.
