HEY 👇
so secretly we've been working with a cabal of indie devs making the type of strange & distinctive games that we love to play on noclip_2.
tomorrow we're announcing a SHOWCASE on noclip_2 as part of an upcoming Steam Festival about these games.
it's gonna be fun.
we hope you tune in.
I just read this again and I don’t think this description makes sense but also I am 100% sure I can draw it and make it even worse
You should put a spring loaded cylinder inside the main one and put teeth on it so you push it to release a bag and let it off to chomp the bag into place. Poke a button out of the bottom or something to push it up and out of the way.
Thank you for your service. Please bring fewer free loadouts though :)
The bottom feeders who like to clean up after other people's fights in Arc Raiders are easy to manipulate and kill. If you fire off 3 or 4 of the raider flares you can make in the middle of a fake fight, the stupidest people on the server will show up in short order to give you their stuff.
I put Moonlight on my Xbox Series S to stream games from my PC to the living room, and it's the best experience I've had on their platform in years. The hardware is really nice!
It seems to really prevent you from looting people you kill.
It felt like you didn’t have time to loot once you killed somene, because you were going to get third partied. Maybe that’s by design.
Do you feel like the TTK slows down as you tier up your gear? It seemed like I was not able to win fights unless I got the drop on people.
I'll give it a try. It seems a little too safe for me though Dan.
I would love a blaze orange beanie. My old Draplin orange beanie is nearing the end of its usable life.
I believe in a better future. My OS hasn't tried to sell me anything, ever.
I'm still on Pro 2s with the spinfit tips. The spinfits have lasted longer than the comply soft foam ones I used to use, but they don't isolate sound quite as well.
I'll likely still use the complys if I go to a concert or something, fwiw.
I mostly just use the Kindle apps still but I back everything up to Audiobookshelf on my NAS.
This was an insta-buy book bundle for me. Autonomous and The City in the Middle of the Night are favs of mine. Best of all they didn’t require me to jump through any de-DRMing hoops. I just downloaded a bunch of epubs to my reader app.
This was my response when my agents asked if I wanted to pitch on this reboot back in November. I really hope more creatives do the same so that the likes of Max Landis are all they can hire. I may not make an honest buck but I’m a hundred per cent American and I don’t work for no two-bit Nazi.
For me, the games I play when I’m stressed engage my entire brain. It’s battle royales, factory games, management sims. All stuff with limited downtime and consistently high cognitive loads.
That I don't know about. Maybe do some searching for your specific laptop model and volume control? I don't know how KDE handles that kind of stuff. The Linux channel in the Full Nerd discord is also quite good.
I'm playing Yip Yap with the @nextlander.com lads and the always delightful @ybbaaabby.bsky.social over at
Server slam! Woooo!
Do you have a gamepad connected? It was getting input and hiding the cursor when I played in one of the other betas.
Order of operations seems really important here.
That game looks bananas run on anything with a recent video card. It is waaaaaaaaay too scary for me.
I spent some really really scary time with Resident Evil: Requiem to see how it performed with path tracing as well as its surprisingly capable raster renderer.
This looks super dope Megan. Can't wait to play it.
It’s bad enough that I’m going to Burger King. They should lead by thanking me for overcoming my deep seated shame.
Two shots from The Simpsons episode where Bart gets an elephant. It shows two DJs from KBBL. One says "Man, that thing's great." The other says "Don't praise the machine." They're talking about a robotic DJ that the station manager is threatening to replace them with.
One time, the AI order taker hit me with a "You Rule!" after I gave it my order and I automatically responded "You Rule too!".
With the absolute clarity of hindsight, this is one of my life's greatest regrets.
There's a sign you can see in the drive through at my local burger king with the official greeting that employees are supposed to say. "Welcome to Burger King, where you rule." I guess they're implying that I'm the real King of burgers.
Thankfully, no employee has ever said that to me.
