Seattle Reign announced today that their home game against Bay FC, which was originally scheduled for Friday, Sept 11 at 5:30 pm, has now been moved to Saturday, Sept 12 at 5 pm, which should please a lot of fans.

Agreed the messaging from the team so far has been quite poor (to put it kindly) and they should have had all their ducks in a row with options for STHs before even announcing it!

There wasn’t a good option here - prob. not a lot of Seattle-area STHs who can make that trip 3x (esp. with one on a Wednesday), so including them would be messier than making them opt-in. We should get more clarity in a week or two on what options STHs have for those games and/or credit/refund/etc.

The NWSL announced today that the 2026 schedule will be unveiled on Thursday, and also shared key dates for the year.
Teams can begin preseason can begin as early as this Wednesday, the transfer window opens next week, decision day will be Oct 24/25, and playoffs start two weeks later.
Five Seattle Reign players have been called into the #USWNT January camp, the most of any club.
