It's more like, when there's a random political event on a Tuesday night or something that's going to go late into the evening on a weekend, are any of our babysitters available and can we afford to spend $100 to $200 to pay them in addition to whatever we spend while we're out.

So, yeah, not as many people who actually had to show up somewhere for years on end and put in the time. My people mostly wound up being folks who'd been in the service industry or landed on law because their brains were broken and this was the only way they could see to exist (both are me)

Our avg age was like 25 or 26. Most common to see someone get out and work a law prep job for a bit. Maybe a firm, but also policy organizations, government agencies, politicians, etc. Or classic post-college semi-work like job programs. A cohort of people who got masters then went to law school

Really replying upstream as well, but over >70% of my classmates had a lawyer within one familial arm's length (immediate family, grandparent, aunt/uncle, etc.). Not a perfect metric, but a pretty good indication of their socioeconomic status.
