Yesterday, one of my male colleagues said I didn’t have the “experience” to pass my Equal Pay bill with Rep. Melissa Shusterman out of the Labor & Industry committee. I corrected the record and shared why I will always fight for women and working families across Pennsylvania.

Today we observe Equal Pay Day, a reminder that women still face a significant pay gap compared to their male counterparts. On average, mothers are only bringing home $.73 for every dollar a father earns and that discrepancy translates to women missing out on an average of $10,000 every year.
