He will *never* do anything that genuinely upsets or angers Vladimir Putin. Whether in Iran, in Ukraine or even in the USA. It is his only constant.

I think the most frustrating thing in politics right now though is labour thinking they need to appeal to the die hard reform voters when they never ever will.
