It’s a hefty pile. These are some of my books from Nova Scotian and Atlantic Canadian writers, some near and some far - gone to the great library in the sky. I grew up in a house of readers. Let’s ensure the kids today and the next generation have the same chance! 👏

Agree. I am sick over this. It will have ripple effects that last forever.
As an NS author, I’m outraged. Funding for ALL NS book publishers, many museums and others has been stripped. This will have devastating longterm impacts on our communities and culture. Don’t brush this off. Literacy is important to critical thinking skills, problem solving, and community building.
