I think all French volume manufacturers did some really good brochures in the early 70s.. Simca, Renault, Citroen were all similarly chic..

Lovely day for a trip to the Heart of the South. Didn’t see Timbo
Had a brilliant day yesterday at the #LandRoverExperience at Luton Hoo learning how to off-road in a #landrover Defender. What a machine and so very capable on some tricky terrain. Really want one now. Thanks to Andy our instructor for the day
Meh. Took an hour and a half to get to Crystal Palace. Temporary traffic light count = 4. Trip home (on train) was quicker!
Well this is exciting. Am on an electric bus to Crystal Palace. I plan to take in all the temporary traffic lights South East London has to offer. Wonder what time I will arrive 🤔

Todays listening; #AdrianJuste at Motor Fair ‘91 (don’t forget to pick up a sticker), and Gambo appreciates The Four Tops @aircheckdownloads.com @radiojottings.bsky.social
Thanks guys @ukdepartureboards.bsky.social - That was excellent customer service on a Saturday night (thanks also to the legend @dannycoxlive.bsky.social).
Now working and off to play…
“Seats and shit” West Wickham has really let itself go
Mike Reid punching the air at Turnberry for not getting near the hole is my favourite bit so far
You stay classy, Selsdon
An “all England” edition due to a strike by print workers. The local radio section must have ran to a few pages…
Merry Christmas from #PettsWood
How I like it! 🤣
Hello hello fellow Stace! 👍
Serious dubbin’ (no G)… I’m not busy 🤔 #SteveWrightInTheAfternoon #BBCRadio1
Very much of the era. Pretty sure I’ve heard Johnnie Walker voice the promos into the ident from this package voiced by Glen. @davidfurness.bsky.social will keep me straight on this.
Where do I sign up? 🤣
I can’t see a Doctor but I can see Gene Wilder
Mmm the lemon ones were amazing
Early memories of the car parks, the giants Tesco with the ceiling lights that were soooo high. Churchill Square amazed a young Stace as did Arndale Centre Wandsworth and cemented a life long interest in late 60s / early 70s brutalism.
