After a few years using Windows 11 and #Linux under WSL2 for main gaming & development machine I have replaced it with #LinuxMint. Much more lightweight and streamlined. Picked Mint over LMDE due to better driver support with my hardware.

Recently switched from #Ubuntu to #LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition) on my Starlite laptop. Runs perfectly and love the cinnamon UI. My favourite distro so far! @linuxmint.com
Good question. I consider anything before PS1 and N64 retro, when things shifted from mostly 2D to 3D. PS1 was same year as Doom 2 interestingly.
