We’ve long known the FBI had confidential human sources in the crowd (reporting on extremists) on Jan. 6. The conspiracy theory is that the FBI used them to instigate the riot and entrap Trump’s followers. The DOJ OIG report makes it clear that didn’t happen. So it’s still a dumb conspiracy theory.

Hasn’t this been a long standing problem: Democratic policies resonate, but Dem party & politicians are not perceived as credible? Messages are muddled & campaigns wrap around the axel trying to be nuanced instead of incisive.
