How do I make this app not suck? All I’m seeing is horrible AI-generated images and “punch a nazi”-style memes. It’s only been a week or so but I’m near my wit’s end with this shit LOL

Beyond that, what does it say about our culture that people don’t want to leave home? Maybe lots of folks don’t have friends to eat out with (depressing)? Or maybe people are bummed and can’t find the energy to change out of their PJs (depressing)? Whatever the case, just strikes me as sad.

For one thing, it’s much more fun to eat out when other people at present, even if they’re strangers! People watching is fun and even brief random interactions with fellow diners can add a bit of enjoyment to the dining experience. Empty restaurants are a bit depressing :/

I find it actually quite sad how food delivery has largely taken the place of dining out. Went to one of our favorite restaurants for lunch today and the restaurant was completely empty except for us. We did, however, witness no fewer than 9 or 10 DoorDash orders get picked up.

The AI accounts on here are depressing as fuck
