I’m starting a new job on Monday and worked asked for a self-intro ahead of time. I mentioned my birds and now they want pictures! I’ve spent the last hour trying to decide which one to send and they’re all so GOOFY.

Someone isn’t happy about the lemon pig situation.

These days when I board her at the bird hotel there’s almost always at least one other Mochi there at the same time so she has to be Mochi (parrotlet).

Yes I’m a guilty Mochi owner, but to be fair she’s almost 12 so I was *technically* ahead of the naming frenzy. That and she looks like a little round ball of matcha mochi.

I was laid off yesterday. This is my 2nd lay off within a year. I’m just so tired of this.

Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do but the instability of everything right now is really tempting me to switch careers.
