Creature Concept: Draco (mecha amphitere) Digital illustration of a robotic winged snake on a black background. His tongue is made of black metal, and two plasma globes are fastened to the back of his head. Yellow-painted spikes stick backwards from the back base of each globe, and similar stripes run the length of the creature's body on its back. Creature Concept: The Executrix (Gorgon-Lamia Gynoid) A thin, robotic woman with a giant khopesh in one hand and a smoking rocket launcher in the other slithers in front of a black background on her snake-like lower body of metal plates. Her mouth is open in a scream, and black oil is sloshing out of it while neon magenta flames streak from her eyes, which are weeping tears of similar oil. Her entire head is medusa-like, and her scalp is ringed by mechanical snakes whose heads all point in the direction her khopesh is raised. Creature Concepts: Rage and Sorrow the Mechanical Harpies 2 robotic harpies on a grey background. They have long necks with a single rotating joint in the middle, and metallic masks that look like women's faces form their heads. The jaw of these masks is open, and a flamethrower protrudes from Rage's mouth, while a sonic pulse weapon sits in Sorrow's. Bird-like wings made of metal feathers sprout from their backs, and a shawl-like fabric covering that flaps in the wind is fastened to both pairs of wings. Both harpies sport a long, snake-like tail. Shutaro Ida aka "Curry the Kid" leaves behind an enormous legacy and his passing is a major loss for video games. His work has accompanied me most of my life and I'm saddened by these news. I can however surely say that he will be remembered for his outstanding contributions to metroidvanias. RIP.

Auch wenn ich die beide echt toll finde, muss ich sagen, wenn du Schießen in Metroidvanias nicht magst, ist's vielleicht nichts für dich. Die Progression und die Fähigkeiten finde ich ziemlich cool gemacht. Weniger frustrierend als zb. Fusion, da Sterben nur Position resettet, man behält aber Items.

Wie findest du denn axiom verge? Wär ich mal neugierig drüber.

Deutscher Entwicklerpreis 2025: Berlin holt 5 Auszeichnungen - GamesWirtschaft.de Für die Studios der Hauptstadt-Region hat sich die Reise nach Köln gelohnt: Fünf Trophäen gehen an Spiele und Entwickler aus Berlin.

Die Hauptstadt-Studios waren in diesem Jahr besonders erfolgreich beim Deutschen Entwicklerpreis - unter anderem mit dem 'Studio des Jahres' @toukana.bsky.social und zwei 🏆 für @paintbucket.de.
