Through advocacy against housing inequality, demands for policing accountability, and programs providing free food, health care, legal aid, transportation, and clothing support, they demonstrated how grassroots leadership can influence public policy and public administration.
Black History Month Spotlight‼️ This week we honor the Black Panther Party. Their movement reshaped conversations around housing access, public safety, and community-centered policy solutions.
From helping advance the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act, promoting human rights at the United Nations, and driving economic development as Mayor of Atlanta, his leadership reflects the values of service, equity, and impact at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.
