Things are so eerily quiet without cars.

Not necessarily car-free, but think of the local popular areas that feature walkability: Bridge Park, Easton, Short North, Worthington.

Then think of how much space is used for car storage - street parking, huge garages, surface lots, etc.

Walking and biking connect you to your surroundings in a way that cars actively prevent.
