Twitch: - Still working on making EventSub-related connections more reliable. Seems to work for the majority of people but there are still some weird edge cases. YouTube: - Fixed a parsing bug that would cause SuperStickers to not appear. Kick: - Doing some more prep for the official API. Hopefully that'll land here soon! - Fixed follows and some other events not firing. - Made some changes to the backend to be more relaxed when auth fails. This is to hopefully prevent you from being logged out _immediately_ if/when Kick is down. It is worth noting that if Kick is down for > 30 minutes or if you try to login while it's down, you will still be logged out. There's no good solution here, as I need to ensure that you are who you say you are, and there's also critical data that is inherently unknowable if Kick is down that'll prevent me from figuring out who you are. Hopefully with the move to the official API, that'll alleviate a ton of issues as the official API seems to be pretty reliable.

This one's for you, @Twitch :peepoLove: As I'm sure you know, certain events have been inconsistent (to put it lightly). Well, no more! Twitch subs, sub gifts, follows should all now arrive properly and they'll no longer be duplicated Twitch announcements (the /announce command) And... drum roll please... :aPES_Drums: [re]sub messages will now appear in the app! This has been missing for a long time. And for @YouTube I've been a bug hunt lately: SuperStickers should appear properly now. Fixed a few issues where some data would be in a weird format and it'd never detect you going live. Fixed various issues where we weren't handling data correctly and would never wind up sending the appropriate event to Caffeinated. And last, but not least... @Kick! Implemented a workaround for weird channel slugs (don't ask). This should fix issues with follow events sometimes being missed. We're making preparations to move to the official API (now that it's out). There'll be an update in the future once that's ready 🙂 This update will roll out over the next 24h. Apologies for the Major outage banner. We had to reboot the database server so Oracle could migrate it, and then Oracle decided to reboot it a second time after I stepped away. Should be all good now! 🩵

This update has been reverted. We'll work on a fix for the few machines that don't play nicely and we'll let you all know once it's back :)

Instructions on how to continue using the newer version can be found in our Discord in the # updates channel.

- Completely reworked how the app renders its UI. This makes things feel snappier/more responsive and should fix some major lag issues. - Caffeinated's widgets are now compatible with TikTok Live Studio! - Fixed the now playing widget being broken in text-only mode. - Alerts that use a video no longer wait for the video to finish playing before they play an audio file. This is how most people expect it to work. - Changed up how the Chat Dock/Dash works. It now behaves better. You can also now properly scroll up to cancel the audio-scrolling (so you can read old messages). - Dropped support for Windows 8 and lower. You must be running Windows 10 or 11 for Caffeinated to launch.
