I had a similar urge, The sound from just the breeze blowing over the pipes was pretty cool.

It was just a thought, I have limited experience with the Ender 3, just helping another teacher with hers. So I’m not sure what the exact problem might be, I often find that when I take things apart and re assemble them even when I don’t find the problem it corrects the problem. Good luck!

Looking the photo the screw that comes through the red wheel on that corner appears much shorter than the other three. You probably need to access the other side of the screw to tighten it.
