I think a combination of approaches is useful for a well rounded education. I have a bone to pick with some orgs offering classes and not providing teacher bios or resumes along with course descriptions. I want to know who my teacher is and how they came by their knowledge.

One on one privates for hard skills with accomplished dommes have been helpful for things like suturing, electroplay, and impact for me. But a lot of my soft skills come from doubling with more experienced providers.

Thanks Elena! I have a habit of waiting too long to ask for help out of a stubborn sense of independence, so while I feel a bit sheepish I do think ultimately I made the right call to err on the side of caution

I live alone now and my #1 fear is dying alone in my apartment so when I felt like I was gonna lose consciousness I panicked

They didn't seem particularly enthused but they were nice enough. Thought they were gonna be more excited to take my vitals tbh

I was spraying a pesticide in my house and started to have an allergic reaction when I got it on my skin. I started to feel like I was gonna pass out so I called 911. But after rinsing my hands for awhile I started to feel better. By the time the paramedics arrived I was totally fine 🤦‍♀️
