Today, Mademoiselle Sunisa was born. She's as beautiful as her birth day. We're gaga. If you're wondering, the word "sunisa" is Thai/Khmer and means "beautiful woman" or "lovely woman." The name is composed of: "su", meaning "good" or "beautiful" and "nisa", meaning "woman" or "night." Perfect.

A magical moment on the trail yesterday: an unexpectedly close encounter with a great blue heron creekside. Usually we just see them as they fly away like at the end of this video but this one gave a few moment to take in its beauty first.
