He’s currently in America supporting a foreign president over his own country

Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage want Britain to blindly follow Trump into this illegal war, even though the President has no plan for what comes next.

There is nothing patriotic about outsourcing Britain’s foreign policy to Donald Trump.

I see Farage is off to Mar-a-Lago to talk down Britain and suck up to Trump.

So, Johnson, Farage, Badenoch, the Telegraph… howl about the UK being “an irrelevance on the world stage”.
Remind me again who decided to isolate us with a strategically and economically idiotic Brexit, relying on a trade deal with the US to save us from exactly the kind of weakness they now bemoan.

Well, they are quite isolated geographically in the northern Atlantic, and I wouldn’t blame them for getting nervous. I hope it’s not just that though.

Let's just be really clear here, this is far from an isolated case. The Home Office routinely makes vulnerable people homeless, and yesterday's announcement by the Home Secretary on increasing the removal of support from some asylum seekers will make it worse.

Reform’s fundamental problem in my view is that their only tools are strife, division and discord- very alien values in a nation that prefers grumbling and getting on with it, stoicism, muddling through and community pulling together. They can only go so far on dividing people before they get fed up

The long and short of it is Trump had no congressional approval, and this attack would not have had any grounds under international law. It’s Iraq all over again, so why have yet again trotted along with it?

At this time we must remember heroes like Robin Cook and Charles Kennedy who stood up and opposed the Iraq war.

Oh dear, how sad, never mind. Maybe paying a little more tax isn’t the worst thing in the world. Maybe it’s even *gasp* a public good, as long as it’s being spent on improving our society.
