The older I get, the more I dislike movies and shows that specifically seem to posture themselves as “edgy” or “cool.” Like R-rated superhero movies that are basically screaming at the audience “Look at me. I’m not like those PG-13 movies. I’m grownup and mature. Watch me beat this guy’s head in.”
