Cognitive overload is strong words. What is a good word to describe the tiny things in code that can cause tiny cognitive hiccups that when combined can add up enough to cause actual cognitive overload?
In 2024, we have redistributed a total of $4,371.83 USD to the open-source community! Thanks to everyone who supported this idea! π

2025 hasn't even started yet, and I'm already hyped about all the things I'm going to announce next year.

As I'm going through the plans for the next year, it seems I will be taking a few months off active open source development to focus on Epic Web. The topics there are so good I cannot wait to share them with you. The whole testing bundle is going to be the best resource to learn automated testing.
The Epic Programming Principles Cheat Sheet. A summary of all the principles
The Epic Programming Principles: the guide I use to make decisions as a software engineer.
Transcending specific tools or frameworks, these principles will help you guide your career, craft, and technical choices.
See details and examples for each principle here: www.epicweb.dev/principles π

π Iβm having an Open House!
This has become a bit of a tradition for me. Every Black Friday, I select a couple of lessons from my courses and make them public for a few days. This way, potential students can test-drive the content and see if itβs a good fit for them!
The doors have just opened. π
Coming very soon. The Epic Megabundle π π
