Cognitive overload is strong words. What is a good word to describe the tiny things in code that can cause tiny cognitive hiccups that when combined can add up enough to cause actual cognitive overload?

2025 hasn't even started yet, and I'm already hyped about all the things I'm going to announce next year.

- A ground-breaking API in MSW;
- My first non-MSW project in 7 years;
- A novel;
- New testing workshops, articles, and pieces of advice.

Follow to not miss all of that!

As I'm going through the plans for the next year, it seems I will be taking a few months off active open source development to focus on Epic Web. The topics there are so good I cannot wait to share them with you. The whole testing bundle is going to be the best resource to learn automated testing.

Hey! I already announced this on other platforms, but I'm building an online Git course :) I've just published the course outline at gitlegit.dev.
Go 'ave a look and let me know what you think. Discount codes for anyone on the wait list pre-launch!

Shout out to @joshwcomeau.com's principles.

He closed his 135K Twitter account, despite it being a major marketing tool for his content and courses.

He spent his final days informing his followers about the election before closing it and moving here.

Protest isn't always convenient.

For me the question/confusion is, does 2(1+2) = 2 * 3 or 2(3). In other words to get rid of the parenthesis I still have to do 2*3 ?
