thank youuu! yeah while I haven't watched or read tooo too much of hajime no ippo I loooove how the action is done in the manga, it's sooo easy to follow how the moves are going and flowin (vs somethin like tokyo ghoul where I was just constantly confused durin battles)

his design is pretty fun, again I really like the lil design differences the anime did to the design
so I basically prepped all the lil muscle pieces first, so like to make one arm I gotta prep shoulder, triceps, biceps, forearm muscles, all which have fur on the front and canvas inside (plus some non-muscle pieces that are just fur) and then I sew all those together to form the sleeve
uh basically eeevery muscle shape of the suit is kinda like a seperate little pillow, the outside of it bein fur yeah, inside just some semi-stretchy canvas (figured only later it should be something a touch stretchy), and yeah with an opening to add/remove the padding
lemme know if for any reason you need like proper/more detailed help or pics or whatever x3
not a pro and my suit is a massive WIP (and haven't shared anything of it in a whiiiile), buuut I went with a duct tape dummy, then attached foam muscles on top, and grabbed patterns using those (cling wrap + tape), thooo then also took the foam pieces off and used em as filling for the muscles
