For now most of the images for them are placeholders, but each damage type has its own buff and debuff associated with it.

It's been a while since the last update, the outside job market has not been kind, but over the last three weeks or so I've finally added buffs and debuffs to Eclipse Tower, each character can only have one of each at a time which can be overriden or time-out on its own #indiedev #1bit #pixelart
I wanted to squeeze in a pride piece before the month is over. Celebrate yourself and who you really are!! #transpride #gaypride
Other outside commissions are done as well so we'll be back to our regular scheduled programming tomorrow lol
I not only work in pixel art, I also occasionally paint minis, and this is part of a commission for a skaven warhammer army
It was complicated but still a lot of fun to paint #warhammer #ageofsigmarminiature #skaven
1 bit winged rat working on a tablet in the dark
Apologies for lack of recent updates, still busy with the job hunt and the dev work I've been doing is mostly refactoring, condensing, cleaning, and commenting my code so not much to visibly show at the moment. But here is Feather, an OC of mine, in the meantime. #indiedev #1bit #pixelart
It's been a bit since I've last posted an update, been busy job hunting and fighting off the horrors (you know how it is), but I'm coming out of it, and am working on implementing a swarm enemy, the first support type, it doesn't appear on it's own but it'll (de)buff others #indiedev #pixelart #1bit
Last year I increasesd the resolution for a better overworld scale and higher res menu/battle sprites. In preparing for adding bosses, this week I've reanimated the bug sprite to match player sprites, im slow for now but am getting faster

After wandering for a while avoiding fights, I found a strange shop deep in these caves.
Willa sells one time use items like potions. They'll be useful against the nest, but alchemy seems complicated, so I'll just buy some for now and sell my bug legs. #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev #1bit #pixelart
six figures sit around a fire in front of a mysterious eclipse adorned door, four of them are just silhouettes but the knight and wizard are illuminated.
At the start of each run you pick two characters, one to lead and another to follow, and in total there will be six playable characters, each unlocked through different means. The leader for each run will also have some unique interactions with npcs and other mechanics #indiedev #indiegame #pixelart
the next feature is taking longer to implement than I thought it would, so for now here is an upgrade to the equipment screen.
Now your equipment also shows your money (shards), and battle loot.
You'll see what the bottom rows are for once they are implemented, but they'll be helpful for battles. :)
After avoiding some huge bugs, the way forward has been found, but it seems to be blocked by a dangerous looking nest.
Maybe there is more equipment or something else around here to better my chances against it. Time to look around some more.
The goal is to have the first playable demo out by summer so you'll have to wait a bit, but dont worry, it is on its way.
The caves of the lower floors are dark and filled with crawling creatures, but the river may lead you to the exit.
Finding new equipment will also help give you an advantage if you can't or don't want to avoid a fight. One is given to you at the start but more can be found along the way.
Every piece of equipment works differently for each class that uses it.
Eclipse Tower is a turn-based roguelike with a focus on positioning as you climb up each floor of the enigmatic tower
First post, a title screen.
Over the last year I've been learning and mastering 1-bit pixel art and gdscript in order to bring my game development dream into reality. I hope you'll follow me as I add features and refine the quality of Eclipse Tower until its eventual release.
