It's almost always the Esperia Prowler Utility. I'm all about those risky, stealthy actions. Here's to hoping the Railen will still keep some of that stealth (still a sexy ship otherwise)
Honestly, it's the lore and the fringe space. It's not "lawless" like Pyro, but it operates outside of UEE space with a focus on community and shared strength.
I feel empowered to be a part of that, even if it's fictional.

From what I understand:
If you mine 100 SCU of something and refine it, you'll get 45 SCU back, but the value of that 45 SCU should be equivalent to pre-4.5 100 SCU.

There have been large exploits, why are we now getting even more ways of making more money? Isn't the timing here a bit bad? Yes. The exploits from the last 2 patches have been rough for the game and the economy. As a result, a full wipe is likely at some point down the line.
For those of you wondering, we are likely NOT getting an econ wipe with #StarCitizen path 4.5.

Yeah, I feel like that, due to rapid inflation caused by an unscheduled oversaturation of the money market followed by a quick spread of the illicit funds, a fiscal rebalance may be needed (echoed by the community as you've seen in chat). That said, none of us know what their timing goals are sadly

I'd be okay with a wipe -- but my gut feeling is that we probably won't see one until Crafting to clear the chaff and present proper data on the timing of progress. That said, I've had a stomach bug for a few days now, so I can't even trust that.
That's what's been swirling around the rumor mill, but I'm still trying to find any explicit comment from CIG on it -- usually we'd know by know if there was to be a wipe (especially on RC2 tonight).
I'm not against a wipe, mind you, just want a citation or something I can point to.
I'm still OOTL, has CIG officially confirmed a wipe? I know the alleged customer service screenshot that's circulating (which seems to be doctored), but I'm unaware of any other evidence of direct communication from CIG

Absolutely, and thanks for the intel on that. Having heard whispers of it, I figure there'd be more fanfare. Of course, we should "always expect a wipe"(tm), and this is like no other -- my goal is to see if there's any truth to the rumors, backed by actual sources that I hadn't been seen yet.
The praise for VR in Star Citizen has been nothing short of phenomenal. My hope is that it'll be one of the many things that draws people to experience a similar joy that many of us have: playing around in a space sandbox that's beautiful and fun.
A wipe with 4.5 will help prepare the economy for crafting -- allowing for the economy and game design teams to better understand a good rate for learning the "upgraded" blueprints such that crafters will have things to work towards.
Personally, I'm okay with either, I would just like to know.
I'm torn. On the one hand, if there isn't a wipe, I'll be more likely to play on the LIVE server to continue my constant purge of Shattered Blades from the Nyx system (you know, to reduce the retaliatory Vanduul attacks on the citizens of Levski)

Yeah, it was absolutely a passion project by Silvan-CIG to bring VR to the game. They've been working on it for several years now! They're also the one responsible for making sure the UI works in widescreen monitors. They're extremely beloved by the community for their passion for the game.
They added more info as well! You shouldn't need the command console to swap anymore -- you can bind the keys to switch from Stereoscope to Theatre mode.

Be careful though, there's a lot of pirates trying to blockade the route from Levski to the Stanton Gateway. If you are looking to get back, it's a good idea to route to a different location and jump to the gateway not linear to Levski
I mean, you can spend ~$45 to buy the game and never spend another cent on it again to give it a shot (with the vast majority of the playerbase giving positive feedback about the VR implementation). People play the game right now, and really enjoy it. I'm certain it won't be the worst $45 spent.
Alright #StarCitizen Fam, there's rumors of a wipe swirling about with 4.5 (to combat the overinflated economy), with some stating that it was mentioned via an official statement -- drowned out by all of the (appropriate and well deserved) praise for VR.
If anyone has any leads on this info, lmk!

Thanks man! It was super easy to make too. I didn't have to manage temps across three dishes on varying heat levels. I can't do french baking, those guys are insane (yet able to make some of the most delicious foods I've had)
Norsetech's Stellar Pumpkin Nutella Loaf Ingredients: - 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour - 1 teaspoon baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon - 1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg - 1 1/2 cups sugar - 1/2 cup canola oil - 1/3 cup water - 1 1/2 cup pumpkin (don't use pumpkin pie filling, it's pre-seasoned) - Note: If you're using real pumpkin for this, don't add water - 2 large eggs - 1 stick butter (for coating pans) - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon rum extract (or 2 tablespoons of your favorite dark rum) - 6-10 tablespoons Nutella Recipe: 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat 2 8x4 bread pans with butter. Set aside. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside. 3. Use a blender to mix pumpkin, water (if needed), and extracts until smooth. 4. In a large bowl, gently whisk together sugar and eggs. Add pumpkin mix and oil, whisk until smooth and combined. 5. Slowly stir in the flour mixture. You don't want it clumpy -- look for the same consistency as thick pancake batter. 6. Pour the batter into the mini loaf pans, making sure batter is evenly divided. Drop 2 heaping tablespoons of Nutella onto each loaf pan. Swirl the Nutella into the pumpkin batter with a knife. Place the loaf pans onto a baking sheet and place in the oven. 7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 8. Place the loaf pans on a wire rack. Cool for 30 minutes in the pan and then carefully remove the loaves. Cool completely before slicing. - Note: It took me almost an hour for the loaf pans to cool enough to get the bread out -- and even then the nutella stuck to the sides. If the loaf crumbles a little, you can do what I did and paste the bottoms together with Nutella, wrap it in plastic wrap, and put them in a clean loaf pan overnight to settle.

Made an amazing Pumpkin Nutella Loaf using local sugar pumpkins and .... wow. I don't bake that often, so it's wonderful to prepare something that is sweet and delicious!
