A point-of-sale thermal printer, printing out a list of notes. There's a screen above it, a stuffed animal dog left of it, an ePaper environment sensor right of it and various other desk gadgets, too, all on a wooden desk.
Over the weekend, I put together a video with 7 examples of how I use AI on a daily basis (plus one bonus example). From the mundane to the surprisingly useful: constantin.glez.de/posts/2026-0...
Yes, that's a point-of-sale thermal printer!

A diagram titled 'The Delegation Brief' on a light blue background showing a framework for equipping the Intent Prompt for complex missions. At the top is a blue circle labeled 'Context' (terrain map). In the center is a nested circular diagram with an orange core labeled 'Intent' (what & why), surrounded by layers for 'Next Step' and 'Approach' (optional), all enclosed by a dashed circle representing 'The Intent Prompt.' Flanking this central diagram on the left and right are yellow and green circles labeled 'Toolbox' (supply pack) and 'Deliverables' (checkpoints) respectively. At the bottom is a purple oval labeled 'Navigation' divided into two sections: 'Tenets' (compass) and 'Guardrails' (fence).
Turns out you can stop "prompt engineering" and start delegating instead.
Just tell AI what success looks like and why it matters. Like you'd brief a colleague.
You already have this skill. You've used it with humans for years.

A solitary figure in dark clothing stands inside a large geometric glass or ice structure in the shape of a house, centered in a vast frozen landscape. The structure reflects the figure below it. Surrounding the main structure are two smaller similar houses in the misty background, all set against a serene winter scene with frozen water, snow, and a soft gradient sky transitioning from warm orange and yellow tones on the left to cool blue tones on the right during dawn or dusk.
Solitude. Wetland. Echo.

Interior of a grand steampunk-gothic cathedral with ornate wooden architecture, glowing brass gears and mechanical details on the walls, illuminated by golden lights and lanterns. A massive arched doorway in the center glows with bright golden light and is framed with ornamental designs. Stained glass windows with colorful patterns are visible at the top, and a bright blue sky shines through the open doors, creating a dramatic contrast with the warm interior lighting. The floor features an intricate geometric stone pattern.
IMHO, the current software panic is a transformation, not an apocalypse, or "SaaSpocalypse" as some say.
Think de-centralization of software development.
Abundance, not scarcity.

Looks like thereβs a bug in the Claude app for macOS where Claude fails to activate a skill.
Until this is fixed, hereβs a workaround: unpack the Zip file with your skill (or look for its files in ~/.claude), attach the contents and ask it to activate from there.
Works for me, hope this helps!

A terminal window displaying a command execution log titled 'mlx_whisper --task 1/V/V/P/2026-01-13_YT_Starting_a_new_new_job'. The screen shows multiple timestamped entries in cyan text, each with a time range in brackets (like 02:16.220 to 02:17.420) followed by the repeated message 'Learn the terrain.' The timestamps progress from 02:16 to 02:29, showing the sequential execution of tasks during what appears to be a machine learning whisper model processing job.
TIL: Whisper has a word repetition bug that almost made me give up on local transcription for my YouTube videos.

Interesting! What Quality Objectives are you discussing?
I think itβs fine looking at the metrics and asking questions like βwhat needs to happen for this to go upβ.
But that shouldnβt be the only thing. In many cases βqualityβ is much more than βzero defectsβ.

Constantin, wearing an olive green zip-up, sits at his desk playing a small wooden ukulele. He is focused on the instrument as his hands strum the strings. Behind him is a wooden desk with a keyboard, music equipment, and storage cabinets.
I failed at guitar twice due to goals, pressure, homework.
Then I became a musician in 20 min. with a ukulele, thanks to intention, daily play, and fun.
Then again, using synths.
Same dream. Different approach.

Alt text: Terminal screenshot showing the llm command with Perplexityβs sonar-pro model to summarize entertainment news into 3 bullet points, saved to news.txt. The output displays three news items: Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman discussing their film "Song Sung Blue" about a Neil Diamond tribute band; Ed Sheeran revealing his F1 movie soundtrack song "Drivex" inspired by 1970s rock; and celebrity birthdays for Offset (34), Vanessa Hudgens (37), and Tori Kelly (33). Below are 8 numbered citation sources with URLs from entertainment news websites. The timestamp shows 15:36:14.
`llm` by default outputs txt, so `llm "Tell me a joke" > joke.txt` would send the output to a file called `joke.txt` on Mac and Linux platforms (dunno about Windows). Works with any plugin, so `llm -m sonar-pro "Summarize todayβs news" >news.txt` would give you the news as a text file in `news.txt`

A classical statue in draped robes stands on a circular platform in the center of a frozen reflecting pool, surrounded by tall Corinthian columns with ornate capitals. The columns line both sides of the composition, their fluted surfaces illuminated in cool purple and blue tones. Snow covers the ground and architectural elements. Bare winter trees and a misty landscape are visible through the columns in the background. The still water creates mirror reflections of the statue and columns, enhancing the ethereal, dreamlike quality of this neoclassical architectural scene at dawn or dusk.
