Itβs cool that this generation gets to find out the answer to βwhat would you have done when we started interning the Japanese?β and βwhat would you have done when we invaded Vietnam?β and βwhat would you have done in Watergate?β all at the same time.
Almost thereβ¦
βLower pricesβ β βrefundsβ though.
I'd like to say to these people, and this comes from a genuine place of a lesson I myself had to learn:
It is all right to have these sorts of thoughts. But they're inside thoughts.
By BEN LEFEBVRE 03/05/2026 05:00 AM EST f β’ β’ β’ President Donald Trump's chief of staff, Susie Wiles, is telling his advisers to bring ideas to the Oval Office to lower gasoline prices in the wake of the U.S. attack on Iran, according to two energy industry executives familiar with the conversations. The White House is "looking under every rock for ideas on improving energy prices, especially gasoline prices," said one of the executives, who was granted anonymity to describe internal administration discussions.
I have an idea. Hereβs my idea: We should have had this meeting last week before we started bombing Iran. www.politico.com/news/2026/03...

I'm teaching about early 20th century eugenics today and was reminded that 9 years ago Republican Representative Steve King was stripped of his committee assignments by his GOP colleagues for this post that simply states what is now bog standard GOP policy/rhetoric on immigration and "civilization."
Keep it up. The longer it goes, the more attention I think youβre likely to get. Keep being public about it.
Anti-vaxxers are bad parents. Not vaccinating your child is abuse.
We should eliminate all non-medical exemptions for vaccines.
Sorry, not sorry.
I'd like to purchase some political risk insurance in case my country elects idiots to run the government.
How Tariffs Fucking Work The government has done a horrible job explaining this, so let's get into it. Swipe
1. Tariffs are federal import taxes paid by American businesses directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (part of the Department of Homeland Security). 2. These taxes must be paid by an American company before a shipment of products made overseas can enter the USA. 3. The tax is based on a shipmentβs βvalueβ (how much it cost to make the products). If a tariff rate is 50%, and a business wants to import products that cost $500,000 to make, then the business must pay the American government a $250,000 tax before the goods can enter the country. 4. In other words, a shipment that was supposed to cost a business $500,000 now suddenly costs $750,000 due to tariffs. 5. In 2025, Trump often changed these import tax rates while shipments were in transit. His tariffs got as high as 145%βwhich means businesses were being asked to pay Donald Trump more than the people who actually made the fucking products.
6. Some American businesses literally could not afford to receive shipments they had ordered, because they didnβt have enough cash to pay the unjustified, illegal taxes the government was now demanding. 7. At a tariff rate of 145%, a shipment of products that costs a business $500,000 to make requires a tax payment of $725,000 to import, bringing the total cost up dramatically to $1,225,000. Yowza! 8. American businesses pay Trumpβs tariffs. Other countries donβt pay them. Foreign factories donβt pay them. Trump doesnβt seem to understand this, and he has been misinforming the American people for years. 9. Of course, many businesses passed all their tariff costs onto their customers by raising prices. And now, those companies and their shareholdersββnot the customers who actually paid the tariff costsββstand to get refunds. 10. Is that fair? We donβt fucking think so: GetYourFuckingMoneyBack.com

The truth is not the average of a fact and a lie.
Probably just need to armageddon harder.
EXCLUSIVE: At more than 30 installations, U.S. commanders told troops the war on Iran is a Christian war.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation has been βinundatedβ with more than 110 complaints.
One NCO said they were told the U.S. war is to bring about Armageddon and the return of Jesusβ¦
At least the families of the fallen have this to comfort them.
The First Amendment already βbans Sharia law.β
It also bans the government from imposing any religious law β including the Christian nationalism that Senator Tuberville is so eager to codify.
Raise your hand if you think we deserve a president that has a better response to American troops dying than βthatβs the way it is.β

It was literally just tweaking a program that's existed in New York since the 1880s: he upped the pay and publicized the program.
It's wild how little it required.

Well, at least they apologized for the inconvenience.
There will be a day, at some point in the future, when you will go from sun up to sun down without once reading his name, seeing his face, or hearing his voice.
Feels impossible now. But it will happen.
Just hold on until then.
You can do it.
