I do wonder what creates the bubble that people who write into local newspapers live in.

The local paper has published a letter stating that Canada needs to abandon its HSR plans for a maglev.

Never mind that the world’s longest maglev is just 30km compared to the 1,000km proposed Alto HSR.

Which is why a two stage authentication process where the password and authorisation from the departing AND the receiving email address works well.

The alternative is a human does it.

Those things are the worst at security.

It really isn't. It's mostly for laziness.

If a user has a compromised email service then allowing them to swiftly change both the email identifier and the password on an account is the right thing to do.

It's the idiots who use email address as a key in a database causing most of the problem.

My exiting domain dates from the mid nineties and the amount of spam is just so crazy.

So new domain, new platform.

Because Starbucks won't let you change an email address yourself but will allow you to delete an account guess what I did.

Not allowing email address changes is crazy bad customer experience.

Is that why the police entered with a loaded shotgun?

Would it have lasted that long and continued under some scrutiny? My first pass investigations into it suggest it's all smoke and bluster from Peter Steinberger wrapped around functionality that already existed.

Nice was to get a job tho.

The survey needs some work as some of the questions are not applicable. β€œHow easy was it to access stations in the middle of the street?” Doesn’t apply to Eglinton to Mount Pleasant for example.
Happy to help review!

They likely can't without WBD getting legal with them. WBD's rights are much greater than those that the EBU delegates down to national broadcasters.

WBD wants to be the place people go for on demand and specific events while the EBU backed broadcasters are limited to linear style services.

I did wonder when astrology and infosec would finally converge.

Today will be a tumultuous day for Virgoans as their moon is rising indicating an increase in the likelihood of a DDoS attack.

Has anyone here ever successfully changed their email address? The verification logic seems to fall down - the click here link in the emails doesn't work and now I've tried to verify the address too many times.
And @bsky.app support is not yet mature enough for me to trust they'll get it right.

It’s not β€œsome of it” is down to TX rights. All of it is.

Warner Brothers Discovery own the major rights and the BBC is limited to two live streams on either One or Two plus a further stream. But they’re limited to two live streams.

This is n place until 2032 and covers 49 European territories.

Timings are hit and miss towards Mount Dennis as this is the direction where the trains come from the not yet prioritised outside world.
Heading back from Mount Dennis they’re nicely spaced until they hit traffic.

But there’s some real bad in here too.

Mobile signal is non existent in some of the tunnels and stations unless you’re with β€œthe right carrier” and the sound quality of the announcements is beyond a joke on some of the trainsets.

The former Kodak Building at Mount Dennis station.

The former Kodak Building at Mount Dennis station.

There are some parts of the Eglinton Line that I really like. It’s smooth through the tunnels. It has more space internally than the streetcars. And the Mount Dennis complex has some nice building reuse.

I popped into the new Eglinton Line station. Given much of it has been complete for years I’m amazed that only two elevators already need maintenance. When Berlin had delays with their airport half the site needed maintenance or replacement by opening time.

Why are the indicators buttons on the steering wheel?

Safety controls should not move relative to another control. They should be fixed in place so that they are intuitively available.

This is so embarrassing. Only 5 places in the east of Canada to recycle a Brita cartridge.
Meanwhile the UK website shows about that many for an area just to the north of a small city to the north of Birmingham.

Clorox Corporation you need to get your act together and do the right thing here!

I usually grab a coffee and a snack admittedly. But the break is good and my bladder thanks me.

Gonna disagree there. That’s a bad HUD because it’s forcing you to look down at the hood area.

A fancy looking HUD that doesn’t sit in the natural eye line of the driver is a bad HUD.

It’s a Heads Up Display for a reason. To stop you from needing to glance down.
