It's time to bring back money drafts

Since I was in Milwaukee, I had less time to play between my rounds in stuff, but I fired 9 bullets and didn’t come close to making the second draft.

Just checked final standings cuz I still have people I’m rooting for in the LCQ (let’s go Sam Black!) and it seems my opponent who knocked me out round 6 turned around and drew themself out of top 32. That’s as good a sign as any to be done with tournaments lol

I do already have plans to attend magic con Vegas, but not sure if I’m actually going to play any event that could qualify for anything. Might just spend the weekend hanging out and playing cube.

Died in the LCQ and that might be the end of my competitive magic journey. I’ll probably still play some on arena, but traveling for events just doesn’t seem worth it for me anymore. Games just haven’t really been enjoyable for me for a while now.

Won my round in under 15 minutes, so making a run back to the smokehouse across the street to get a good bite before round 6 starts

3-1 so far in the limited championship qualifier. Have a slightly above average elf deck with good mana, removal and a couple bombs but massively lacking in elves, especially devoid of good elf uncommons. Lost to Caleb D on an elf deck that had all the bodies I was lacking.

This format feels impossible

Died in the 5k and immediately ran across the street to once again make terrible dietary choices, this time with bbq.

If I don’t make it to the start of the standard 5k in the morning, I died eating too much at this dope southern restaurant near the event, Tupelo Honey. 10/10 would rec

Forgot to take another pic after cutting the Harvester, but this was one of the easiest 7-0s I've ever had. Such a good mix of card draw, tutors and interaction. Had to back door the cutter + vivi win one game when breach was inquisitioned turn 1, but all other games easily got to full combo kill.

Can someone explain how I failed to get a single collector box in like 10 bullets, but get an easy 7-0 with this shit pile in one go today? My only guess is arena match making decided my deck was so bad I should only play other bad decks.
