DSA endorsed Jake Ephros wins Jersey City City Council ward D. Ephros is wearing a plaid shirt and speaking into a megaphone.
Congratulations to @jake_ephros and @NorthNJDSA for the win! A champion for the rights of tenants and immigrants πͺ Jake will be taking the fight for Jersey Cityβs working families to City Hall ποΈ
DSA endorsed Joel Brooks has won his seat on Jersey City City Council Ward B. Brooks is pictured grinning and wearing a blue button down and stylish glasses.
Congratulations to Joel Brooks and North NJ DSA! πOn City Council, Joel will fight to make sure Jersey City is a livable city for families πΉnot a playground for predatory real estate speculators π¦

Itβs runoff season in Jersey City! Itβs been a historic year for socialists in municipal elections across the country, but weβre not done yet. Hear from @cmalexaaviles.bsky.social @jakeephros.bsky.social and @dsaelectoral.bsky.social on how we can help cap off 2025 with 2 more wins! πΉ

βRep. Rashida Tlaib at DSA convention
Hey folks as many of you know my car was recently stolen and recovered the thieves tore out my ignition and I am desperately behind in work as a result. Please consider donating to my GFM or sharing this link with comrades. Thank you!

Truly honored and so excited to serve on the 2025-2027 @demsocialists.bsky.social NPC alongside Ella & @cerena.breadandros.es π«Άπ»
Congrats to all our other comrades elected as well!
Finding a home within a home is very specialππΉ
love this
Save the date! Join us for POWER UP! A summer socialist fundraiser party to send our delegates to the DSA national convention. We just hit 80k members nationwide- and we're going to use our numbers to build power!
The politics of Bread and Roses gave me the clarity and confidence I needed in my politics in a moment of turmoil for this org. I am so ready to crush this campaign and work to build a stronger member led movement for DSAπ«Άπ»
Iβm running to DSAβs NPC with four absolutely incredible humans ππΉ
As a 28 year old city councilor this feels so pointed π
Maybe John can check out the @portlanddsa.bsky.social family agenda, heard theyβre fighting for things to make the lives of families (found or otherwise) better in our city πβ¨
It is WILD to watch a supposedly public agency spread disinformation to get a whole community worked up and protect their own bottom line.
Prosper Portland is sitting on a $50m slush fund that they did not earn and want Portland to cut parks maintenance and permitting staff.
Wild.
Portland DSA, check this out!
Everyone else, check out my caucus Bread and RosesπΉπ

Thanks to 530 donors, we've raised $30k for DSA candidates, more than half of our goal of $50k! π
But we've got a long year ahead of us. It's primary season and corporate cash will flood into our races.

When we say βan injury to one is an injury to all,β weβd better fucking mean it. π€

For those who don't know, there is a battle over whether or not the Portland Police Association (PPA) will be allowed to join the Northwest Oregon Labor Council, the large regional labor coalition. They were invited summarily by a leader and are being supported by unions who pay for votes. π§΅
Last Friday, our members voted unanimously to leave the NW Oregon Labor Council if the Portland Police Association is affirmed as an affiliate by delegates.
We will not pay dues to an organization that fights against police accountability measures and supports efforts to intimidate city councilors.
In the leadup to a vote on whether the labor council admits the PPA, what did they do this past Wednesday night?
Spoke a conservative political fundraiser in Portland.
So, this is one of the many reasons we say the PPA is an anti-progressive organization which does not share our values.
