the svg assets though are a bit shit still, but impressive for a single-prompt game with just a follow-up message for a couple of improvements
nonetheless, claude and gemini latest models still are unbeaten for ui/ux stuff...
the video was also recorded by codex using playwright and ffmpeg
vid is a bit laggy because it was run in a smol vm without gpu acceleration
but the game runs smoothly and is actually cool lol
today I tested gpt-5.4 via codex cli
I told it to create a waifu pillow brawler game using phaser
it also had to generate the svg assets and audio effects by itself
after one prompt and about 20 minutes of work, the game was already playable and fun!
