In this day and age everyone should have free internet and WiFi. Shameful, just shameful.

The #AffordableConnectivityProgram was a massive success, allowing 23 million low-income households an opportunity to reliably connect to affordable high-speed internet. But when it expired in May, these same households were left with only temporary solutions to address their needs.

SD's Sen. John Thune is among the lawmakers resisting continuation of the #AffordableConnectivityProgram. Lawmakers launched it during the pandemic, and more than 23 million low-income households signed on. But now the ACP is out of money.
