It's weird but true, #Linux needs #PowerShell _far_ more than #Windows. #MacOS at least has #AppleScript.
Linux has been parsing and praying for decades.
PowerShell makes it so much better.
And it runs faster on Linux. 😎
If #MacOS was the most popular operating system I'm sure the AppleScript feed would be constantly cluttered by #infosec publications sharing the latest exploit using #AppleScript.

Got so tired fixing page #s on PDFs from @jstor.bsky.social that I wrote an #AppleScript droplet (do we still call them that?) to fix it.
It needs #qpdf (I use homebrew) & assumes the numbering is sequential & uses Arabic numerals.
For more complex things, try the other script in the same repo.
