At the Network Automation Forum's #AutoCon2 I spoke about using large language models in network operations

Better late than never 🙂 Here's my slightly tardy coverage of the Network Automation Forum #Autocon2 event. I think this conference is an imperative for the network engineering community, even if you aren't up to your neck in the automation deep end (yet). www.bitsinflight.com/autocon2-the...
Still getting used to posting on this app but I posted a new blog the other day recapping my experience at #AutoCon2! I also talk about my first time presenting a conference talk!

#autocon2 last week, nary a week until #awsreinvent. No rest for the wicked. I'm doing a thing though! No AI, #sorrynotsorry
#AutoCon2 is in the books! Events like this remind me that the future is bright and automation is a gigantic part of the future of #NetworkEngineering

Good morning.
Post #autocon2 coffee
Had a blast at #Autocon2. Met some amazing people and got to catch up with old coworkers. I've learned a ton and can't wait to learn more about automation.
First post on bluesky! Just got back from #AutoCon2 and people there told me this is where the cool kids hang out now?
Good luck!
I've gotten a couple of what I would call decent nights of sleep. What would normally be enough, but only minimally helping with the #autocon2 deficit.
First post! I'm currently learning to snowboard at Keystone after #autocon2. Finally got a good nights sleep.
Returned home from #Autocon2 in Denver last week, did everything right to beat jet lag, slept on the plane, stayed awake until EU bed time… it’s 2AM right now and wide awake 😳
I'm still in transit back home from #Autocon2. (I stayed in Denver Friday night)
I'll have more to say in the future. For now: I'm extremely glad I went, got to visit with friends/colleagues, and connect with new folks.
Also, for those wondering, the "Open to Work" badge did its job very well.
The last 3 days have been a lot.
of.
fun.
And I do mean that sincerely. I was able to be a part of #autocon2 here in Denver. I've had a ton of great experiences, learning from and talking to some of the brightest people in the world of networking right now. More thoughts, so check my blog soon!
An excellent week at #AutoCon2. Glad to have met so many folks who I’ve interacted with on social media over the years. @networkphil.bsky.social @johncapobianco.bsky.social @ericchou.bsky.social @ecbanks.bsky.social

🚀 We just held the biggest @usnua.bsky.social event yet!! The "Great Debate" of EVPN vs L2LS during NUG@NAF at Network Automation Forum #AutoCon2 and what a spirited debate! We recorded it so sign up for the member section of the USNAU site to see it when available: www.usnua.com/membership
Yep. On a similar note there was a stackstorm workshop at #autocon2 & people did not realize it was still around with a new release coming. That project has also been forgotten by our industry. It’s apart of the Linux foundation now.
Another day another run at #autocon2
Last day of the event. Looking forward to the talks and coffee sessions!
#autocon2 has been incredible. The people, atmosphere, and focus is something special 💥
Day 2 of #AutoCon2 kicks off with a keynote from PayPal with an automation case study

Ready for #AutoCon2 day 2!
Also at #AutoCon2, Anna Claiborne had a great keynote that asked "Why Haven't We Seen Full Adoption of Network Automation?"

If you've got FOMO for the #AutoCon2 conference happening this week, @ecbanks.bsky.social and I are live-blogging sessions on our LinkedIn pages.
Here's a highlight from yesterday: Dinesh Dutt calling for a (vendor-free) network automation lexicon

Day two #autocon2! We are having some great conversations about where we people are in their automation journey and where Forward Networks can help! I’ll be at the booth all day, come by and say hi! Don’t forget to try out our automation pipeline!
It's 5 past the hour, and it's like all these engineers don't even know there's free booze right outside the room. The forum continues.
#autocon2 is like nothing else 🙂
