Incredible! I'm real so-so on child actors, generally, or whether there even should be any, and this film and its child actors make a great case for why they're vital and necessary. There are way more arguments against, I'd posit, but this is a pretty compelling argument for.

Wow. Jacobi Jupe, and often, the camera is locked down and just fixed on his face, and it's not a burden to his performance. This is an incredible job I'm watching this kid do.

I think he's doing an incredible job. I've maybe never more vibed with a child actor's performance, & it begs the question: why don't we have an #Oscars for #BestChildActor every year?
