Turns out my TPS character was somehow still trying to pull the FPS weapon mesh. Separate meshes and logic for different perspectives are a necessary evil, but I finally have a weapon swap system that plays nice with both.

I really wish "autoplay videos" and "autoplay gifs" were separate tickboxes in Bluesky content settings. I don't like autoplaying videos but I don't mind autoplaying gifs. Unfortunately you can't disable one without the other. #blueskydevs
