I enjoy the game while in combat but the exploration feels really boring, while I was all-in on investigating areas in 2, and less in 3 but still more than 4.

Everybody been saying that #borderlands been chasing Handsome Jack's shadow, but its more like Gearbox is too focus on appeasing their fans.
Borderlands 2 is good because there is no Jack before it ,so he (and other ideas honestly) worked cuz parts of it is not a attempt at chasing and/or fixing.
