A Box Bug stands on an aucuba leaf. This is a relatively large reddish-brown squashbug, about 12mm long, with a narrow abdomen and very pointed lateral corners to the pronotum. It's a rich chestnut brown colour, heavily freckled with tiny black dots, and it has long orange legs and long reddish antennae. The overlapping membranous portions of its forewings are darker brown, shiny, and wrinkled.
