Myself with the @trailbuilders.bsky.social build a bridge across Laurel Gulch in the Angeles National Forest just before Sheep Mountain Wilderness, needed waiver to use a helicopter. Check out the old bridge under the new one :) Indiana Jones! The new bridge burned in the #BridgeFire which was sad!
Neat! I had a coyote visit me in the San Gabriel Mountains after I moved my tent and bikepack down the mountain to park in front of a lighter toilet :) Our coyotes have had a difficult year because of the #BridgeFire, among other problems
None. They knew they were guilty of the crime but no. Burning incense, Indian, meditating with incense burning, in brush despite the signs, despite the recent #BridgeFire. I told them fire fighter engine 22 was on the way, we do _not_ take chances with fires. They said they wouldn't set another
Ah hell, the John Seals bridge across Laurel Gulch burned in the #BridgeFire. A tremendous amount of work was done by the San Gabriel Mountains Trailbuilders to build the bridge, helicopters, horses, Boy Scouts, and a lot of work. #hiking trail repairs in the Angeles National Forest

Even though #LineFire is 42% contained/mandatory evac lifted, nearby #BridgeFire has now become largest #California #wildfire burning and if it gets any bigger, will be 2nd largest #fire burning this year in #californiafires.

#BridgeFire 11% cont! It looks like the hotspots have shrunk, which is good. Looking out the window this morning, there seems to be less smoke in there, which is also good. My area, marked PIN00 on this map, is still under evacuation warning, but I am hopeful that will be lifted completely today. 🤞
