So on the weekend we did some upgrades. My oldest kid was swapping out CPU, so I realized... spare cpu, spare SSD, spare GPU, and I've got crappy old RAM in my box. Upgrade RAM on my machine and I just need mobo, psu, and case for a new PC for my middle kid.

Okay, #BuildaPC BSky, just upgraded CPU in my teenaged son's computer... And the old cpu came out with the cooler *very* firmly attached. I'm planning to use the old cpu to build a new PC for my younger kids. Do I need to pull off the cooler or is it okay to install them together as one unit?
