Last week, we brought together people from all over the UK to take seven simple actions that raise awareness of #AirPollution.
From rethinking their short car trips to having conversations at the school gate, they smashed it! 💚
Day 6 challenge update! We asked our #CleanAirCrowd to take a pic with our new stickers. We particularly enjoyed the pet selfies we received!
We see our window sticker as a simple way to keep the conversation going - a small prompt that reminds every visitor to your home that #CleanAir matters. 💚

A Day 4 update from our #CleanAirCrowd.
The challenge was to have a conversation with a friend or someone you wouldn't normally talk to about #AirPollution.

Our final task: respond to DEFRA’s wood burning consultation - deadline 19th March.
This is a rare chance to tell the government about the real-life impacts of neighbourhood burning.

Day 7 - we made it! 🎉
This week has resulted in some brilliant local awareness-raising about #AirPollution by our #CleanAirCrowd. Every conversation had, flyer distributed, social media post and message shared and sticker put up helps grow the movement for clean air. 🎉

Day 3's challenge was to place our flyers/posters locally. They were distributed to cafes, shops, schools, supermarket and community noticeboards, GPs & libraries all over the country!

Day 3: I delivered these excellent flyers about the pollution emitted by home wood burning to the Milton Road library in Cambridge. It can be surprising to learn how dangerous & harmful a fire burning in a gorgeous, ornate fireplace actually is!

There are now 1 million more vans on UK roads than in 2014, and 25% of car trips are under a mile. Click-and-collect and rethinking car journeys are simple ways to cut #AirPollution.

Air pollution is a health crisis: ~900 premature deaths in Birmingham each year, and thousands of children hospitalised.
The World Health Organization says no level of air pollution is safe, and 1 in 11 UK children have asthma.

If you don't know we've moved from Hackney with a slow but full programme of school street implementation to Cambridge where school streets are 'volunteer patrolled' in the few places they exist.
Cambridge schools need ANPR-protected school streets so all kids can safely walk & cycle.
