Für @DrJamesEHansen ist die geschätzte #ClimateSensitivity des #IPCC (3°C) um 50% (!) zu niedrig. Er schätzt sie auf 4,5°C. Grund ist, dass seiner Meinung nach der IPCC den kühlenden Effekt von Aerosolen unterschätzt, diese könnten noch stärker sein.

Quite hard to put a finger on the most terrifying thing of the current state of our little problématique.
I guess the #ClimateSensitivity faked by the moderates + IPCC, the resulting errors in basically all "state of the art" models, resulting in #AcceleratedCollapse (loss of Earth's #albedo etc.).
A new Potsdam Institute (PIK) paper addresses a pressing climate question. There are different pathways and estimates of climate sensitivity, but what do the pathways look like across the range of climate sensitivities?
