My current #WIP, the Dainty Bones Pullover by Restless Hooks. For Xmas I got a gift card to a local yarn shop and used it to get all the yarn for this project, which will be my first 'nice' sweater (intricate w/ fingering weight). Very excited! 🧶

day 1168: I made this stuffed, knitted tube by knitting each side and then sewing the edges together. It works as a good mini pillow-style fidget since I left the ends unwoven to act as stuffing 🧶

Working on a new cowl using the Science Doodle Deck and our new coordinating Science Lab mini set with a gray base tonal. I’m in love with the little brains!!

This is a photograph of Kyle holding up a knitted work in progress. It is a patch, which has water drops on it as well as the text “MELT” in all caps. It is connected to a purple needle. Kyle’s face is partially obscured by the patch. Kyle is a white gender fluid person with long, brown hair, and hazel eyes. Kyle looks at the camera.

This is the knitting chart used for the WIP to the left. This chart is 27 stitches by 35 rows. It has four rows of design, the top and bottom being a line of four water droplets. The middle two rows read “MELT” and a water droplet before “ICE”. Every odd row is marked with a K for knit on the left, and every even row is marked with a P for purl on the right. Text above the chart reads, “ cast on 27 stitches,” and below it reads, “ cast off and weave ends.”

This is a blocked knitted patch which reads ABOLISH ICE across three lines (as “ABOL” then “ISH•” and then “•ICE”). It is based on the chart shared to the right. It is a stockinette with text written in black ink over a dusty lavender background. The blocking is done using standard pins, and recycled cardboard covered with a towel.

Beloved Caro, my red #Doberman in her sweater. The grey is actual a reflective yarn. A rescue, when I got her at 4 years old, she had no fur on her chest or belly, very little on her back and was at least 10lbs underweight (>20%!) near as the vet could figure, she'd been a breeder dog who'd got out and got hit, and her hip wasn't properly treated. She improved but was always a bit short on that leg.
