B&W van deze gemeente wordt onderzocht op al dan niet feitelijke onwaarheden. Dezelfde avond hoor ik Hildegonda met Belinda-Marie bellen. _In Fryslân onderzoek ik het waarheidsgehalte van bestuurders van de vier grootste gemeenten, waaronder Súdwest-Fryslân_ , hoor ik de lijsttrekker zeggen met overtuigde luide stem. _Ja natuurlijk, en de Leeuwarder Courant biedt daarvoor een uitstekend podium_ , zegt mijn echtgenote. De Leeuwarder Courant is een waardevol medium in It Heitelân. Ik weet niet hoeveel bestuurders uiteindelijk door de mand vallen bij een dergelijk onderzoek, dat natuurlijk een sterke wetenschappelijke basis dient te hebben. LIEVER EEN KROKET DAN EEN DUUR FOTOTOESTEL **In de wintermaand januari kocht ik een lot van een speelster van korfbalclub _Werp met Plezier_. Afgelopen weekeinde werd ik op de hoogte gebracht van een winnende prijs: een duraflex-fototoestel. ** Goed leesbaar boek over de korfbalsport. Binnenkort komen twee bestuursleden van _Werp met Plezier_ de prijs overhandigen. Dat is natuurlijk een klein feestje waard. Schoonmoeder haalt gebak en de woonkamers worden grondig gestofzuigd. Ook de ramen ondergaan een flinke wasbeurt. Schoonvader neemt voor de zekerheid de postduiven mee naar zijn eigen hok, want soms kan de geluidsoverlast van het koeren nadelig doorwerken op de aanwezigheid van bezoek. Duivensport zit in het dna van mijn familie. Voorlopig ga ik ervan uit dat het duraflex-fototoestel gemakkelijk te bedienen is. Uiteraard weet ik wat een diagframa is, sluiterwaarde, isowaarde en zoiets als belichtingscompensatie. De twee bestuursleden leggen andere zaken nog wel uit, zoals: de zebra-functie, de back futton focus, de rasterweergave, bracketing en focus peaking, beweren mijn schoonouders. Ze voegen eraan toe dat het duraflex-fototoestel nog veel meer mogelijkheden biedt met het maken van prachtige beeldopnames van de natuur, menselijke portretten en mooie oude gebouwen. Altijd nuttig voor een gemotiveerde beginneling. Stilletjes aan word ik nerveus om die uitermate dure fotocamera straks in huis te hebben. En had ik dat lot maar nooit gekocht, denk ik. Daarnaast ben ik technisch, dus ook digitaal, een onbenul, en uitleg over zaken die me niet boeien, val ik demonstratief bij in slaap. En zoiets kan ik de twee goedwillende bestuursleden van _Werp met Plezier_ niet aandoen. Kroketten voor de bus. SMULLEN IS DAT! Vanavond ga ik bellen met het bestuur van _Werp met Plezier_ om de dure fotocamera om te ruilen tegen een pak diepvrieskroketten. Dat lijkt me alleszins redelijk. Wees eens eerlijk: een overheerlijke kroket op een vrije avond is toch het beste wat je op de bank voor de televisie kan overkomen! Hidde Misp

Bij de gemeente Leeuwarden pakt een cursus uitslapen voor zeer veel kwakkelende ambtenaren zeker goed uit. _Maar wat is de achtergrond van die cursus uitslapen?_ , vraag ik. _Het is allereerst bedoeld voor gemeentelijke ambtenaren die met burnout-achtige klachten kampen. Ze haken geregeld af en tegenwoordig is nieuw personeel lastig te vinden. En die cursus uitslapen is voor kwetsbare ambtenaren bedoeld om zich vooral in de weekenden te leren ontspannen_ , legt Hildegonda uit. _Overigens staan in partijprogramma’s diverse subsidies voor belangrijke en zeker eveneens onrealistische projecten. Ik ben bang dat het geld voor een cursus uitslapen tot die laatste categorie behoort_ , beweer ik. _Dat is beslist nog even afwachten. Uit de Verenigde Staten ontvangt Oprecht &Blij namelijk berichtgeving dat een goed opgezette cursus uitslapen succes biedt. De gerenommeerde Harvard-Universiteit uit Massachusetts heeft daarover een eerste onderzoek gepresenteerd_, zegt Hildegonda. Als de invloed van president Trump op Oprecht&BLij maar achterwege blijft. _Jouw achternicht Belinda-Marie heeft toch een Amerikaanse achtergrond?_ , vraag ik. _Jazeker, en de partijnaam Oprecht &Blij is afgeleid van onverbeterlijke Amerikaanse eerlijkheid en geluk_, aldus mijn echtgenote. _Als het Trumpisme maar buiten schot blijft,_ besluit ik.
